the reason I am warmThe reason
and temperature drops
The world consumed by the darkness
And ice covering the streets and fields
Cold hands intertwine
Loving stares and sweet smiles.
Your words are the reason I am warm.
Your eyes are my reason to ignore the cold.
A chaste kiss.
Burning red cheeks
and shy looks.
Your lips are starting a fire in my body.
Your hands remind me that I am safe.
Give Me The Strength To BelieveGive me the strength to believe
Soft feathers fell to the floor,
covering it in snow.
Wings spread wide,
graceful movements and careful actions.
Come and guard me.
Lead me to a better place.
Towards heaven, higher and higher.
Take me there.
Let me see the white clouds and the halos of the angels.
Let me see your glorious wings spread wide.
Take me to the place called heaven
Take me there and give me peace.
Give it to me and let my soul rest.
For a while.
For a thousand years.
For forever .
Do not let me return.
I do not want to return to earth.
I do not want to feel ever again.
Keep me up there.
Let my soul rest in your arms
while your wings are hiding me from this cruel world.
Lend me your strength to go to heaven.
Give me the strength to fly.
Never let me fall down.
I want to stay there
where my soul is at peace
where I can rest
where I am hidden from war and hatred.

And with every breath I take
I feel my life fading away
in a soft light.
And with every blink of an eye
I see people vanishing
And with every heart beat
I feel myself letting go

I stopped to let the geese pass. They looked at me; one hissed. I honked my horn and moved around them.
At the end of the road sat a collection of grayish buildings and a number of signs directing me to the appropriate parking lot. "Welcome to Ten Creeks Hospital," said one of them. "Please enjoy your stay." I parked in the visitor's lot. Surely I wouldn't be staying.
I was shaking when I got out of my car. I had spent the morning getting high. One foot in front of the other, flip-flop noises, hot sidewalk. Mulberry and magnolia trees, freshly shaved grass. A bench and pan for smokers. A set o
