shattered

It shattered.
In to million little pieces.
I should have known.
It was so fragile.
So light.
But still...
I should have been more careful.
Seeing the cracks that appeared because of so many conflicts.
So many stupid conflicts.
But I realized it when it was too late to turn back.
I never have imagined that it could break.
It was so strong.
But now it is at my feet.
Broken. Shattered. Million pieces.
Each piece is part of our memories.
Those we shared.
Bad and good.
And I feel sorry for not realizing that it slowly broke.
I should have listened, seen and felt it.
I am sorry.
I am sorry that our relationship will never be the same.
I am sorry that we parted.
I am sorry that I could not keep my promise.
